The most welcoming hairdressers i have ever been to, 100% recommend. in honesty going to the hairdressers usually makes me rather nervous, and it was my first time here after being dissatisfied by other places, but thankfully the staff were so lovely and welcoming i was immediately put at ease, i had my haircut by Connie and she was great at talking me through every step along the way to and accommodating to all preferences with what was being done, as well as providing really good genuine advice, very capable and patient and skilled hairdressers!, the storm and beauty seems to truly care about providing the best possible service to customers, so thankyou!

This is a very friendly and relaxed beauty therapist salon. The consultants are consistently helpful, and the treatments top quality without being ridiculously priced. (I live nearer to another beauty salon, they couldn't be bothered to come to the reception area, I can only assume they are fully booked as well as overpriced.) Worth travelling a few more miles to, can only say good things.

A great visit, lovely gardens, and such an interesting, lived in house. Sitting in a Tudor chair, in front of an inglenook fire. Great.

Fantastic bookshop with the esoteric reader in mind. Also publishes out-of-print works from 19th-early 20th century that would otherwise be inaccessible. And you get a free cotton bag if you spend over £20 (as of Nov 2017). Staff are very friendly too.

Excellent place. Had my parts in stock. Told me how to fit them. So got new wiper blades which had a compatable fitting and swapped in minutes without tools. cheaper than online suppliers with the postage added. Nice big friendly dog who was well behaved. Local business for Street and Glastonbury large car park opposite which is very convenient. If they do not have in stock they would probably be able to order them for you. Helpful staff also.

Excellent range of stock, friendly and professional owner. I went in for premixed antifreeze. Graham told me it's such poor value he won't stock it. Sold me concentrate and gave me a watering can of water to take over the road to top up my rad. Thoroughly decent chap. I did this review after Googling his phone number to check he had engine flush, but he was out of stock. He took my number and called back saying he could get it by lunchtime... now that's what I call service!

Quick friendly service

Very helpfull staff. They have serviced our 4 family cars for the past 5 years and their service has been excellent. For main dealer servicing I have to say their pricing structure is very competitive - wouldn't go anywhere else! They have service loans cars available but with the quick turn around times I have never had the need to have one. All in all a very good main dealer and I couldn't be happier.

First class service! Staff went the extra mile to help with a just-out-of-warranty issue and resolved it quickly and favourable with Vauxhall.

Andy is a superb teacher. He is very patient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him. Andy's bikes are really smooth and easy to use and he has an excellent set up at the football ground to practice Mod 1. You will not go wrong choosing him as a trainer. Thanks Andy for all your help and getting me through the tests.

Andy was a brilliant instructor, and has a really good range of bikes to learn on. A days training at Toucan involved a lot of time on the bike (about 7 hours), and I went from having never ridden to passing my Direct Access in the space of a few weeks. I took my CBT elsewhere, and found that it was just a box ticking exercise. At Toucan I was taught to ride properly and safely, rather than just to pass a test. Highly recommended.

Colin Edwards supplies us with most of our motoring needs and I trust him and the guys implicitly and without question. They supply our tyres generally cheaper than other tyre fitters and in my opinion have easily the most accurate wheel alignment equipment around which helps them last longer. Every 6 months our taxis are Hackney inspected at Colin Edwards and moted every year and thanks to their meticulous attitude and skill at the job our cars are always at their best and I have no fears if pulled for a road side check. I can’t fault this company and can’t recommend it enough, Colin; you and your guys do us proud. Thank you.

Always good for a quick fix clothing .

I had a great time at peacocks, they are after all one of my favourite animals, however just because it is called "peacocks" does not mean that the animal will be there.

A clothing retailer that sells lots of trendy hoodies and clothing that is perfect for your average teenager and of little use to a wrinkly like myself. Great for presents and in the case of the hoodies there is an added bonus when said teenager is grumpy the hood helps to hide the pout . Helpful staff and a good selection of clothing.

Great selection, very reasonable prices and stunning customer service. The guy who helped me, made buying a wedding suit a quick and easy experience. And I normally hate shopping for clothes.

The guy in the store took his time to help me find the right trousers to match the jacket I wanted. He was friendly and very helpful. I had to return some of the packaged shirts as the foot wasn't right compared to the ones I'd tried on. I contacted the stores website and they processed a refund for me... Great customer service all round! Nice suits! Great price.

Bought a few things that were on sale which I have been very happy with I never really shop in New Look as I never find it anything I like as I'm not really into fashion. New Look has good prices the staff also in the store with very helpful.

I was disappointed as they advertise lots of dresses, but there was only a couple there. I bought one, but took it back as it was torn.

I needed a gaming PC built for someone. They (the someone) had bought the parts, or at least some of the correct ones. 7 System Computers very quickly identified that some of the parts were the wrong ones. 7 System ordered the correct replacement parts and the parts that were missing. As this PC was to be a birthday present, the time frame was short. However, it was built in time and works perfectly. I cannot praise and thank them enough for their knowledge, understanding and dedication to the build. For my computing needs, I could not think of going anywhere else. Again, thank you very much.

Buy a readymade butterfly kite (£2.5) for kid at the shop and let him or her fly it on the hill to Glastonbury Tor. He or she never forget the fabulous experience. Some items are dearer than normal price. For example, a King Arthur casting costs £20 at Tintagel Castle, but the same item costs £23.99 here at Glastonbury Abbey Shop.

Fantastic gift shop with a wide variety of historical items,and being that it is adjacent to the Abbey entrance is a bonus. I found so many things that I wanted to purchase, the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable that I can't wait to return!

Shopped online for some crystals and I’m so impressed! I only recently started looking into crystals properly and I stumbled across this site a while back and have been looking things up ever since, as I was so impressed with how detailed descriptions for each product were. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get some crystals for myself, and I’m so happy I found these guys! Beautiful products, super fast postage AND lovely customer service! Visiting Glastonbury and stopped inside to waste some time before I head back on the bus, was pleasantly surprised at the rare gems and large selection of Incense they had to offer. Upside: They deliver online worldwide, Great selection of metaphysical items. Downside: Not all staff are trained or knowledgable about the store items ask for the owner or manager.

Nice well layed out store. Friendly staff. Helpful and knowledgeable of any questions you have on your next DIY project. I have bought a kitchen and a bathroom suite, on previous visits. And have lasted well, and still going strong. Sometimes you can be waiting in a queue for a while, because most of the time there is just one checkout open.

Not a bad little b and q with a garden centre,which isn't the biggest I've visited,generally a quiet store in a good plot with plenty of parking and helpful staff.

This shop may have what you need but the quality is low. This is not the place for quality products. This place is good for price and variety of products. You can find all sorts of products locally ( If you live near one !) This is smaller than the Glastonbury Shop but you can check stock before a visit. You might even find stuff you did not realise you needed ! Open most days.

Great value great choice and friendly efficient staff

This shop and its wonderful and friendly staff, Mr. and Mr. Curtis, deserve 7 stars. If you want a trip down memory lane to a hardware shop which is a veritable treasure trove of hugely useful, made to last, quality household items (think enamel mugs, old style beeswax cleaning products, lovely natural fibre brooms, gift items, clocks, coal skuttles - the list is endless) then no visit to Glastonbury is complete without a stroll down Benedict Street! You won't be disappointed and you may find things you thought were no longer made or can't find anywhere else... If it's bottled gas you want - Mr. Curtis will deliver to your address nearby free of charge - and help you install it! It's old fashioned service at prices to match. I first went into this shop in 1990 and it has not changed since. I hope it never changes. Thank you for keeping it going!

Friendly staff

I, and many many other people, have found Lawfords very helpful over many years. I expect they can sort out a very old lucas starter when i take it in later.

The best stocked cooperative I have been to in a while. Fits in to the town stocking a wide range of whole and health foods along with the standard range of produce. Lovely feel and friendly staff complete the positive shopping experience. Would be great if all Co-Op stores were like this one.

My husband bought me a beautiful ring from this shop, over a decade ago. I’ve worn it almost every day until finally I lost one of the stones. I walked in without a receipt and with good faith, they fixed it for me and sent it back to me. It meant so much to have my ring back, it looks beautiful (still my favourite!) and the ladies I spoke to could not have been more kind and helpful. Thank you!

Musto shop in Clarke's village. If you are looking to buy a jacket for sailing this is the brand's outlet store in Somerset. When looking the site up on the Clarke's village map it is under the category of fashion. The assistant seemed to know about the product. Size and colour selection limited but price is about 40% of normal retail.

Nice clean store with vets and grooming facilities. Products can be a bit more expensive, but a huge range of animal treats, foods and toys in store. Staff are also very helpful. We had an issue with a collar tag and they replaced it FOC no questions asked.

The staff we're really helpful, I have lots of issues with my walking (flat feet and falling arches) but the staff we're able to direct me to a pair which gave me support and were right for the activities I was looking to undertake. I take an odd size but they checked out the back and were able to find a pair in a good colour choice which wasn't on display. Definitely do not be afraid to ask for advice.

They always really really good shops sell a great range of second-hand goods really great to get movies for the children especially in the summer holidays. or if you're anything like us you will buy DVDs to fill in gaps or films you may not have they also sell a great range of games. An old fashioned business that provides customers with service and charges a little more than the bargain basement vendors on the internet. I am wondering why this sort of business is a rarity, why service is no longer valued. Why save a few percent of the cost of something only to have to jump through hoops, stay in, arrange returns and all the other downsides of modern internet inconvenience.

Sam produced a magnificent wedding cake for my daughter Charlotte and Daniel. Attention to detail superb. She matched the lace decoration with bride's dress beautifully. The salt and pepper pots....personal to couple...were bought and decorated beautifully by Sam. Lots of tastes to choose from. We eventually agreed on four for the four tiers. Well done Sam and thank you.
